HELLO FROM STUDIO FU //

FU DESIGN STUDIO is an independently run graphic design studio based in Johannesburg South Africa. At our studio at 235A  Jan Smuts Ave, we have a cool design space where we can be different! Every day is an adventure into a creative wonderland.

THE TEAM //

Creative Director guy and founder of FU,  Jonno has over 20 years experience in design and advertising.

Carolyn has over 10 years printing (both litho and digital), production and traffic experience. She worked very closely with her father, Bruce O’Brien, until his retirement from the print industry in 2010.
She has an Honours Degree in English and is responsible for copywriting, editing and proofreading.
She is currently working on her Masters Degree in English.

THE MEANING OF FU //

“Our FU-losophy” FU is an ancient Chinese symbol representing good luck, a blessing. FU can also be interpreted as an art-form you choose to master – in our case it’s design and laser cutting. Essentially we wish to draw on good energy and pass it on – a positive experience and exchange for both parties. Dis nie a vlook woord nie! What were you thinking?
