We developed a new identity for our client Grant of Language Pro Academy in Johannesburg. Starting with the logo design and then building a small corporate identity kit to enable the LPA team to easily create extra collateral elements and still keep true to the brand identity – A colour Pallet / font list and style guides that are easy to deploy.
The thinking
When conceptualising the logo I kept circling back to school days, school insignia, badges and college shirts. I wanted to design a logo that we could put on learners t-shirts and caps – “The Language Pro Academy Team”
We settled on a crest shape, incorporating the LPA letters and keeping the A in Academy as the focus. The colour way is fresh and young reflecting a new age but with the fimiliar crest collage feel that ties us back to old world respected education institutions.
